The Secret to Extra Crispy Baked Chicken Wings - Easy Recipe
WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

13" x 18" half sheet pan

aluminum foil
-
cooking oil spray or olive oil
-
4 lbs of chicken wings
-
1 teaspoon of salt
-
2 Tablespoons of baking powder (Note: do not use baking SODA)
STEP 1:
Preheat oven to 250º F. Line a baking pan with aluminum foil for easy clean up later. Place the rack in the pan and brush or spray it with olive oil. The rack allows air to circulate all around the chicken wings so they can crisp up!
STEP 2:
Add the baking powder and salt to a large plastic bag or mixing bowl. Add the wings and toss to coat evenly.
Place the wings on the baking tray in a single layer with the skin side up.It's ok if they touch.
STEP 3:
Place wings on a middle oven rack and bake for 30 minutes. Then increase the oven temperature to 425ºF and bake for 40 - 50 minutes, rotating the tray after 20 minutes.
Serve with the dipping sauce of your choice!
