How to Bake Bacon in the Oven - Crispy and Delicious!
WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
-
13" x 18" half sheet pan
-
aluminum foil
-
bacon
STEP 1:
Line a baking pan with aluminum foil for easy clean up later. Place a stainless steel oven-safe rack in the pan. The rack allows air to circulate all around the bacon so it can crisp up!
STEP 2:
In a single layer, lay the bacon strips on the rack. You can fit up to 12 slices of bacon per rack. It's alright if the strips touch, but don't overlap them. If you want to make more than 12 slices, set up another pan and rack in the same way.
STEP 3:
Place the tray in a cold oven and turn the oven on to 375º F. Bake for 20-30 minutes depending on the thickness of the bacon. If you're preparing more than one rack of bacon, turn the pan after 15 minutes.
Remove from oven and serve immediately.
Or refrigerate for up to 7 days, or freeze for up to 6 weeks, that is, if you can resist from enjoying it right away!

ENJOY!
Enjoy your bacon as-is or stack it up with lettuce, tomato and mayo on some good toasted bread. Yummm!
